Consider using a wheelchair in certain places
- When it comes to tourist attractions and theme parks, even pain-free people get uncomfortable. There’s miles of walking to do and you’ll spend hours on your feet, waiting in lines. Rather than having a scavenger hunt through the park for benches, we recommend you just take the bench with you!
- Theme parks and tourist attractions are usually very good about providing motorized wheelchairs. Grab one of these and even if it hurts your pride a bit, you’ll be able to drive it up to locations, walk around, and come back to it. At the end of the day, you’ll have had a much better experience, and you won’t have to recover from it.
Fight for your sleeping comfort
- We all have our beds at home set up perfectly, but when we venture out on vacations, it can feel like we’re at the mercy of hotels. You can bring your own pillows along if you’re driving, but it’s harder to bring all of those pillows on a plane. That is where the hotel’s front desk comes in. Don’t hesitate to ask for more pillows! You can create your own nest of comfort, and you’ll be glad you did the next day!
